Feelings of attraction, friendship, infatuation, and love often emerge during this stage, sometimes bringing excitement and sometimes confusion. Understanding these emotions from a psychological perspective can help teenagers develop healthier relationships and emotional awareness.
“Inside the Teenage Heart: A Psychological View of Love” was an interactive psychological session designed to explore teenage emotions and the science behind love and attraction. The session held on 7th March, 2026 at Prangan,84 Ballygunge Gardens from 5:00 to 7:00 pm encouraged open discussion, reflection, and understanding of how young minds experience relationships and emotional connections.
Session was conducted by Ms. Sohini Chatterjee, Child Positive Psychologist and Therapist. The session helped young teenagers who joined the session gain insight into their feelings, build emotional maturity, and learn to navigate relationships with greater awareness and confidence.
This session aimed at creating a safe and thoughtful space where teenagers can better understand their emotions, ask questions, and learn how psychology can guide them in building healthy emotional lives.
