Staff Reporter : Kolkata, May 16 2026: Merlin Group’s Club Pavilion registered a dominant 6-0 victory over North Kolkata in the IFA State Youth League tournament for the Under-13 category. The match was played at the R10 Football Playground within Merlin Rise.
The IFA State Youth League, organised by the Indian Football Association, is a major grassroots football competition featuring Under-13, Under-15, and Under-17 categories. The 2025–26 edition includes 18 teams in the Under-13 category, 26 teams in Under-15, and 22 teams in Under-17.
The tournament aims to nurture young football talent across West Bengal through structured competition and professional development pathways. Clubs, academies, and grassroots football institutions affiliated with the IFA are participating in the league.
All home matches of the Merlin Club Pavilion team are being hosted at the football ground within Merlin Rise, a sports-integrated township designed to encourage active and community-centric living in Eastern India.
Club Pavilion serves as a dedicated recreational and sports hub within Merlin Rise and houses institutions such as the Yuvraj Singh Centre of Excellence and the R10 Football Academy, promoting structured sports training and youth engagement initiatives.
